Provisions Mushroom Farm is owned and operated by the Kaelin Family. We are a small, artisan farm nestled in the woods near Capitol State Forest, in Olympia, Washington.
Provisions cultivates many different gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. We use fresh and clean organic materials, such as, alder sawdust and woodchips, rye grain, millet, wheat and barley straw, and grain brans.
We use a combination of organic, and sustainable farming practices to ensure quality and cleanliness of your food, as well as, upholding our stewardship of the land. We use certified organic substrates, but have declined to label and certify our fresh mushrooms as such. Pesticides and herbicides are not permitted in our growing cycles.

Wild varieties are available when the season permits. We love our forests and harvest all of our mushrooms with the upmost respect for nature and her surroundings.
Provisions Mushroom Farm has carefully selected the choicest mushroom cultures from around the world. We produce all of our mushroom mycelium in house, from Laboratory to Grow Room, enabling us to control the quality and cultivation of your food.
We have many "pro" visions of our farm; feeding,
restoring and healing the community and it's people.
